Owners may elect to choose a Construction Manager as Advisor to manage their project. This is an excellent contract delivery method for many owners. Advisory projects can be managed by both pure Construction Management Advisory firms and General Contractors that act as the Construction Manager. This contract delivery is not marketed by most firms today due to limits on potential fees and control. One benefit to this delivery method is that owner direct payments to individual prime contractors provides for an expedited process for the responsible work producers.
